Abril Juan Ratto is a cinematographer and photographer based between Málaga, Spain, and Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Her work is driven by a strong sense of visual storytelling, with particular attention to light, composition and the careful crafting of the image. Whether working with stills or moving images, she approaches every frame with creativity, precision and a deep respect for the emotional and aesthetic quality of the picture.
In the camera department, Abril works as 1st Assistant Camera and 2nd AC. She has built experience on short films and music videos, and is now actively entering the wider film industry with the clear intention of continuing to develop in this path. On set she brings focus accuracy, reliability and professional discipline — supporting the camera team with care and protecting the integrity of the image throughout the shoot.
Alongside her work on larger productions, she develops smaller independent projects in which she takes full creative and technical responsibility — from planning and filming through to post-production.
Available for collaborations in Spain, Argentina and internationally.
